Synopsis
Leonardo DiCaprio is a washed up ex-revolutionary with a daughter he had with a fellow revolutionary who walked out on him. 16 years later military man (Sean Penn) with his own dreams and ambitions to join a white supremecy group call the The Christmas Adventures tracks them down and mayham ensures.
Impressions
Leonardo DiCaprio continues to impress as an actor. The film was bleakly funny. Definitely worth a watch.
Thematically it feels a little too on the nose politically, especially in the beginning, but as the film progressed it seemed to make a point out of both the revolutionary group and the white supremecists being a bit clown’ish.
